Terms and Conditions of Sales

  1. All purchases shall be from the Society’s website:  HolyJoeSociety.com
  2. The price is $15.00 per copy, $12.00 per copy for orders of 10 or more, shipping and handling included.
  3. All sales are final.
  4. If you purchase one or more copies of the Pamphlet you are bound by the terms stated herein. 
  5. Payment must be made at the time the purchaser places the order.  The Society uses commercially reasonable methods to provide security of confidential information including identifying information, addresses, credit card numbers, email addresses and phone numbers.  See the Holy Joe Society privacy policy.
  6. The Society accumulates orders and ships once per week. Shipment will thus normally occur within one week the purchase date, (assuming the creek don’t rise). If the shipment is received more than three weeks after the order is placed, then upon request the Society will refund the payment and the order will be cancelled.
  7. Shipment of Pamphlets will be by United States Postal Service.
  8. An Ethics Pamphlet is copyrighted and the Pamphlet may not be copied or redistributed without written consent of the Holy Joe Society.
  9. Notwithstanding no. 7 above, anyone may copy or distribute modest portions of the Pamphlet pursuant to the fair use doctrine, which allows limited use of copyrighted material for criticism, press coverage, training and for other reasonable uses.  (There is no formal test for “fair use,” but instead each case is judged by its own facts).
  10. Further, anyone may read out loud from the Pamphlet at will during seminars, in training sessions, or in the course of media coverage.  If everyone in a group learning from the Pamphlet, whether in person or on line, has a paid for copy of the Pamphlet the pages may be displayed on a screen.  Otherwise the pages may not be so displayed.
  11. WHAT PURCHASERS CANNOT DO IS COPY THE ENTIRE PAMPHLET AND USE IT OR DISTRIBUTE IT TO OTHER PERSONS FOR TRAINING, AMUSEMENT OR ANY OTHER PURPOSE.

    THE REASON FOR THIS IS THAT THE CONTENT OF THE PAMPHLET IS PRIVATE PROPERTY, PROTECTED BY THE COPYRIGHT LAWS OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.  THE HOLY JOE SOCIETY SELLS THE PAMPHLET TO MAKE MONEY TO USE FOR ITS ACTIVITIES.  THE SOCIETY PUBLISHED IT SO THE SOCIETY IS ENTITLED TO THE REVENUE EARNED FROM ITS SALE AND USE.IF YOU DON’T BELIEVE IN PROPERTY RIGHTS OR THE PROTECTIONS AND LAWS OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, YOU ARE BEYOND HOPE SO PLEASE DON’T BOTHER BUYING THE PAMPHLET.
  12. The Holy Joe Society disclaims liability for anyone following or not following the suggestions in the Pamphlet.
  13. The Society has a comment section on the website.  The Society reserves the right to delete from the Society’s website comments about the Pamphlet which are obscene, inducing of violence, irrelevant, not germane and/or otherwise objectionable solely in the opinion of the society.
  14. The Society reserves the right to block any person from the website, again solely at the discretion of the Society.
